POOL DUTY SUPERVISORS

2024 Supervisor Shift Signup

Pool Duty Supervisors are adult members of the pool that perform the duties listed below and in general are the adult presence to ensure that the pool environment is safe and friendly. Each member is responsible for two (2) pool duty shifts or pay additional $60 per shift.

If you are unable to pool supervise on your designated day, you must arrange for another pool member to accept responsibility for your time period, and notify a member of the Executive Team to reschedule your pool duty time.

Pool Supervisor Duties

  1. Help in case of an emergency. Call 911.
  2. Inform a member of the Executive Team ASAP if the pool has reached capacity of 100 people. Phone numbers located in the guard room on the bulletin board.
  3. Clean bathrooms at the beginning of your shift. 
  4. Restock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels and hand soap.
  5. Water flowers.
  6. Empty trash.
  7. Put down umbrellas.
  8. Pickup toys and any garbage around the pool.
  9. Turn off lights and radio.
  10. Place concession money from the fridge in the guard room.
  11. Lock up the guard room with the padlock when you leave.
