How much does it cost?

Membership rates vary depending volunteer hours completed.

Option 1: $500 membership fee and volunteer for 2 shifts as a pool duty supervisor.

Option 2: $500 membership fee and $120 opt out fee to opt out of volunteering for pool duty supervisor shifts.

After May 1st, a $50 late fee will be charged. All members must attend the Fall meeting at the end of the season and volunteer an hour on clean-up day in preparation for opening the pool for the season.

How long is the season?

Our swim season generally starts on Memorial Day and ends on Labor Day. Occasionally, when the weather is still warm at the end of the season, members can vote to extend the season into September.

What is a pool sitter?

Pool duty supervisor enforce the pool rules in the absence of a lifeguard during a specified shift, as well as some routine closing duties at the end of the shift. Shifts generally last 3 hours in the evening and are always on the schedule. By having pool duty supervisors, this allows Holiday Swim Club keep the overhead low, therefore our membership dues are the lowest in Keizer.

Members are required to perform pool duty supervisor duties for at least 2 shifts unless they choose to pay a fee of $120 and opt out of pool duty supervisor duties. A $60 fee will be charged for each missed pool supervisor shift.

What are the pool hours?

The pool is generally open from 9 am to 9 pm. At the pool duty supervisor’s discretion the pool may be allowed to remain open until 10 pm. If the weather is not suitable for swimming, the pool may close early or open late on a particular day. We will post updates on the website, social media, and at the pool in those events.

How crowded does the pool get?

We have a membership cap of 90 families. By placing a cap on membership this prevents the pool from being too crowded and giving ample space to enjoy the pool, even on the hottest days.

What comes with a membership?

Membership includes access to the pool during open swim, guests, swim team, pool parties, pool events and discounted swim lessons.
